Fat face transfer Plus PRP

2This is a safe aseptic procedure performed in our office under local anesthesia and sedation. This procedure is conducted to collect fat tissue, to transfer it then to the desired areas of the face. Could be done as a separate procedure or could be combined with PRP and/or stem cell therapy

Areas of treatment

The common areas where fat transfer can be safely applied includes, Cheeks, Mid-face, Wrinkles around the eyes, Nasolabial folds, Jawlines, Acne scarring, and other.

The Procedure

  • The area is cleansed and disinfected
  • Fat tissue is taken from one area in the body with sufficient adipose tissue (usually periumbilical)
  • Application of anesthetic / Injection of tumescent solution
  • A tissue sample is obtained using a 60cc syringe(s) to aspirate adipose tissue
  • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is obtained using a standard phlebotomy technique from patient’s own blood, if combined the with PRP
  • After collection of whole blood, the sample is centrifuged to obtain PRP. The regenerative potential of PRP is based on the release of growth factors / cytokines; PRP also enhances stem cell proliferation
  • Finally, a combination of fat sample plus PRP and stem cell (if combined treatment) is injected into the selected areas of face with loss of fatty tissue to archives volume, facial tissue regeneration, and skin rejuvenation
